- Hip, Large Knee, SI Joint – 1.0 – 2.0 CC
Stem Cell injections have a counted number of cells. The relationship between CCs and cells includes:
- 0.25 CC – 2.5 Million Cells
- 0.50 CC – 5 Million Cells
- 1.0 CC – 10 Million Cells
- 2.0 CC – 20 Million Cells
Insurance Information
Insurance does not currently cover stem cell therapy. We hope in the near future that this will become an option for a host of insurance companies.
The Process
Injection of the stem cells only takes about 10 minutes and the IV procedure approximately 30 minutes. We will ask that you remain in the office for observation for 30 minutes before leaving. Many patients can see results in as little as 4-6 weeks.
Though the body often will respond well to a single treatment, in some cases a follow-up treatment 3-6 months later is advisable. Amazingly, stem cells replicate for about three months following the injection.
